POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman had a glass smashed in her face at an Exmouth pub.

A fight reportedly broke out at the York Inn on Imperial Road in the early hours of Sunday, October 12.

During the altercation, a woman was glassed by an unknown suspect, possibly a female, police said.

She suffered cuts to her face and nose and needed seven stitches.
