DEVON and Cornwall Police earlier this evening (Monday, May 1), attended a single vehicle road traffic collision near Crediton.
A car ended up on its side in a country lane near the town just before 5pm.

Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended and took to Twitter to publish a photograph of the car on its side with the message: “This driver had a lucky escape near Crediton earlier this evening!
“What a beautiful place to crash! #DEVON #MPS6758JONES.”
