UPDATE: 26.8.22: Police officers searching for missing person Katherina Chernikova have located her safe and well.

Devon and Cornwall Police would like to thank the public for their assistance, having received a number of responses to the appeal for information.

POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mrs Katherina Chernikova.

She is believed to have left her home address at approximately 8am during the morning of Wednesday, August 24 in the East Worlington area, near Crediton.

She is a white female, slim build, long dark hair, approximately 53 years of age.

She is wearing a dressing gown and believed to be on foot without shoes.

If anybody has any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the police using the 999 number and quoting police log 142 of August 24.
