TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A377 on the edge of Crediton on Thursday, April 3.

The extent of their injuries is not known, but neither person’s injuries were considered life-threatening at the time, police said.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the two-car collision near the entrance to Downes House just after 3pm.

The road was closed both ways and reopened by 5pm.
