CREDITON firefighters have attended two incidents so far today, Friday, April 21.
The first was to a vehicle on its side near Langford, Newton St Cyres.
Crediton crews worked with another from Danes Castle Fire Station in Exeter and helped the casualty from the vehicle after having stabilised it.
The second incident was to a hedge on fire in Tedburn St Mary which, the firefighters said appeared to have started in a wheelie bin.
A Crediton spokesperson said: “Neighbours had damped down the fire using their hosepipes until the arrival of the crew who dampened down the area.
“The crew then checked the adjacent property with the thermal imaging camera to ensure no spread before returning to station.”
