FIRE crews from Chulmleigh and South Molton fought a barn fire at Burrington overnight of Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18.
Fire Control received an initial call at 10.32pm of hay bales on fire within a barn.
On arrival crews confirmed that there was a small fire within a barn involving small farming tools and bales of hay and confirmed that the water bowser previously dispatched from Exeter would not be required to attend.
At 11.39pm crews were dampening down and making steady progress.
Just after midnight the crews confirmed that the fire was out and involved five per cent damage to the building, hay bales having been removed from the building.
One thermal imaging camera and one hose reel were used during the incident.
