DEVON and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a burglary series in North Devon which happened between Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21.

On the Friday, police received three reports of burglaries at residential addresses where cash was stolen.

The first incident took place at a property on Rockbear Avenue in Roundswell between 9am and 7pm.

The second incident took place on Queens Avenue in Ilfracombe at approximately 3.35pm.

The third burglary was reported in Bideford on Hawthorne Park between approximately 5.45pm and 6.45pm.

On Saturday, June 21, police received another report of a residential burglary on Northam Road at approximately 8.45pm, where cash was also stolen.

Detectives believe these incidents are linked and are currently investigating the reports.

Officers will be present in and around the locations while those enquiries are being carried out.

Police are asking residents who live in the local area to come forward with any information, particularly if they have doorbell camera footage.

They are also reminding the public to be vigilant about home safety and ensuring homes are secure.
