THIS week Devon and Cornwall Police are supporting the national Sceptre knife crime week of intensification.
As part of this work around knife crime the force will offer knife surrender bins at police stations across the region so people can hand in weapons – with no questions asked.

Crediton Police request knife retailers take care when selling knives and follow these simple guidelines:
1. Knives should only be sold to those over 18.
2. Assess the age of the buyer
3. Challenge for proof of age
4. Check ID
5. You can refuse to sell a knife if you think it will be misused.
