POLICE are seeking the public’s help to identify the person pictured in connection with a cashpoint robbery in Tiverton.

Two male suspects forced someone to withdraw money from a cashpoint on Bampton Street before assaulting them on the evening of Friday, May 29.

A local man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been bailed.

“The second suspect is outstanding at [this] time,” a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said.

“Officers have continued to carry out enquiries and we are now in a position to release... [an] image to the public.

“The image isn’t of the highest quality, but we hope it may still help identify a male who we believe may be able to assist us with the investigation.”
