THANKS to the generosity of shoppers at Crediton's Morrisons store, and to extra donations supplied by the store's Community Champion, 61 Christmas Hampers were distributed to clients of Crediton Foodbank on Friday, December 23.

Volunteers from The Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface collected the food donations which had been packed into bags at the store.

The bags contained fresh food - chicken, bacon, sausages, fresh veg, dried goods, Christmas puddings, mince pies, chocolates and other festive treats - enough to make a complete Christmas meal for a family.

Volunteers and trustees from the Foodbank distributed the bags of items to families and individuals.
