A TOTAL of 18 girls from the 4th Crediton Brownies along with their leaders stayed at Broadhembury Memorial Hall for the weekend (February 17-19).

They took part in the South West Region virtual event “Making Your Way round the World”, completing activities from other countries to celebrate Girlguiding’s Thinking Day.

Thinking Day is a celebration of girls worldwide that has taken place on February 22 every year since 1926.

It remains a day for all Guides and Girl Scouts to think of each other and celebrate their sisters all around the world.

They took part in camel racing, cycling the tour de France, learning greetings in other languages, silk painting, llama pyjama game and much more.

Two girls, Julia and Chloe, were enrolled, making their promise on the first night.
