MORCHARD Bishop’s 37th Annual Flower and Produce Show will be held in the Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 3.

The show is open to all Morchard Bishop parishioners, members of the village Gardening Club and the Open Classes which are open to all.

There are more than 100 classes which include vegetables and fruit, plants and flowers and the Morchard Bishop Allotment Challenge. There are also household and craft sections.

The organisers are always keen to have a lot of entries in the children’s classes which are for two age groups and this year include a decorated gingerbread person, a drawing or painting entitled “Volcanoes” and a planted Wellington Boot.

The Village Competition is for a planted Wheelbarrow and a Scarecrow.

On the day of the Show, doors will be open to the public at 2.30pm with an admission charge of 50p for adults and children free.

Light refreshments will be available with prizegiving at 4pm followed by the sale of produce and a draw.
