THE Mid Devon Farming Life Group held a “Harvest Meal" at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum, which was well attended with around

120 present.

The evening started with the Tedburn Community Choir entertaining with a wide range of songs.

Brian Warren spoke on the harvest theme and then the farming group members enjoyed a wonderful hot buffet.

Gill Nicks organised a collection for Crediton Foodbank.

Thanks have been expressed to all that contributed so generously and to all that helped in any way making it such a successful evening.

The next meeting of the Mid Devon Farming Life Group will be a visit to Farmer Luxtons, butchers and farm shop at Stockley, Okehampton.

This will take place on Wednesday, October 22.

There will be a meat preparation demonstration and a meal.
