ELEVEN years-old Crediton Scout, Jamie Jones, is holding a coffee morning at Yeoford Community Hall on Sunday, April 28 to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance.
The coffee morning will take place from 10am to 11.30am and there will be bacon/sausage baps, tea, coffee and cakes for sale. Some of the cakes will be vegan.
Jamie is an active member of 1st Crediton Scout Group and has organised this community event to gain his Fundraising badge.
He chose the Air Ambulance because it lands beside the Community Hall at the end of the road where he lives at Yeoford, also its night landing site.
Jamie goes to school at Yeoford Primary, going up to Queen Elizabeth’s School in September.
He joined the Group as a Beaver, working up through Cubs and now Scouts. For his Fundraising badge, he said he would like to do some cakes and everything grew from there.
