THE Alzheimer’s Society is encouraging people to take part in the new South West challenge for 2022 organised by Action Challenge.

You can trek, jog or run the South West Coast 50 challenge which takes in

the initial section of the stunning and famous 630-mile Coastal Path.

It officially starts in Minehead close to the extensive “base-camp” in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle.

Then the 50km loop heads across Exmoor with ups and downs and some magnificent views with more than 1,600 metres of climb.

You’ll get full support all the way, a finish line celebration, and with three 25km options also, along with camping options and festival style hospitality at base-camp across the weekend.

With 25km or 50km routes to choose from there’s a South West Coast Challenge for everyone!

As things stand with Covid-19 this event will be going ahead but the situation is being closely monitored by the Alzheimer’s Society.

If your event is cancelled or postponed after sign up, you’ll be offered a transfer onto a new date or a full refund on your registration fee.
