NORTH Tawton Rugby Football Club now has a defibrillator available for public use on the side of the clubhouse, thanks to a generous donation.

The defibrillator has been donated by Mrs Yvonne Newstead in memory of her late husband, Malcolm, who sadly died five years ago.

Mr Newstead, a former committee member, enjoyed watching occasional matches at North Tawton RFC, where his daughter Sarah Quick, is the club secretary.

Other members of his family are also actively involved with North Tawton RFC, some as playing members.
