A MEN’S four ball betterball open competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, August 20.

The winners were Peter and Andrew Sinclair with 47 points, Will Searle and Paul Kennedy were second with 46 points, Malcolm Hooper and Lee Carey were third with 45 points after countback from in fourth Steve Browne and Brian May also with 45 points.

The Best visitor prize was won by Jordan and Wayne Spencer with 42 points and the best combination prize was won by Malcolm Hill and Pete Okopski with 45 points.

The ladies entered an individual stableford competition and the winner of Division One was Sue Stanbury with 39 points. Petra Byatt was second with 35 points and Cherry James was third with 34 points.

Division Two was won by Lin Atkinson with 42 points. Clare Salter was second with 33 points and Elaine Marwood was third with 27 points.
