TWO members of the Crediton and Copplestone PUMA (Professional Unification of Martial Arts) Taekwon-Do group have again been selected for the National PUMA Squad and will be off to Holland to take part in the Dutch European Championships in Delft.

Black belt's, Daniel Brennan, 1st Degree and Ryan Powlesland, 2nd Degree will be defending their European titles in April – the group wish them the best of luck.

The older juniors and adults had their Taekwon-Do grading at Newton St Cyres where colour belt members were put through their paces by Senior Master, Ray Gayle 8th Degree Black Belt (chairman of the PUMA association).

Dave Powlesland, the group's senior instructor said: "The group is currently training hard and getting the final preparations in place for the PUMA Southern Championships, which will be held in Plymouth in mid March.

"A busy, but highly rewarding schedule is available for those who want to compete and achieve their individual goals.

"We are a friendly family orientated dynamic group who take pride in what we do, and what we can achieve as individuals and as a team."
