PUPILS at Landscore Primary School in Crediton boogied on Friday, January 31 to raise money for the National Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Following on from Speak out, Stay safe assemblies and workshops, run by the NSPCC which equipped pupils with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect, the school decided to raise money for the vital work that the NSPCC undertakes.

The whole school joined in with the danceathon. When the bell rang at various times throughout the day all the children and staff jumped up and danced.

Sponsorship forms had been sent home, and the whole school was thrilled to hear that they had raised an incredible £1,433.

Added to previous fundraising Landscore School has raised more than £4,500 for the NSPCC in the past four years.
