GRANTS of up to £1,500 are now available to help football clubs, whether they want to establish a girls team or a disability team or even create an under 15 or 16 team to help feed players into an adult side.

Grow the Game provides the funding for projects that use football to increase the number of those taking part, whether players or volunteers.

The grant of up to £1,500 is per new team created.

Funding can be used to support facility hire, referee fees, County FA and league affiliation, FA coaching courses, promotion and much more.

If your club is looking to expand in the next year or two then this grant is a fantastic way to get some much needed financial support to make it happen.

Applications close at noon on February 17.
