THE Ladies of Downes Crediton Golf Club held their Spring Meeting on Thursday, May 27, followed by afternoon tea and the prizegiving.

This was unable to be played last year due to lockdown. The day turned out to be sunny after the course had been closed on several days due to the bad weather.

Winners of the day:

Scratch Division One - Stacey Ford. Division 2 - Diane Botterill.

Handicap Division One - 1 Lyn Parry, 2 Ying Wong, 3 Fran Shrubsole.

Handicap Division Two - 1 Annet Coles, 2 Di Parsons, 3 Sue Barr.

Cynthia King Robinson Cup nine hole competition - 1 Stephanie Moffat, 2 Anne Jones, 3 Joanne Coe.

Millar Bowl for the best nett score was presented to Stacey Ford.

Cups were also awarded for winners of 2019/2020 which, because of Covid, were unable to be presented last year.

County Stableford Prizes

Division One - 1 Ying Wong, 2 Lyn Parry. Division Two - 1 Shirley Stunell, 2 Di Botterill. Hole in One - Shirley Stunell.

The prizes were presented by Lady Captain Sue Jackson.
