OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held a four ball better ball stableford competition on Saturday, January 11 which saw Matt Parry and Barry Down win Division One with 43 points, narrowly beating Rob Green and Stuart Tolley on the back nine, placing them in second place.

Malcolm Hooper and Richard Prouse were third with 42 points.

Division Two was won by Norman Heslop and Tim Butler with 45 points, Alan Lawson and Alex Anderson were second with 42 points after countback from, in third, Mark Bennett and Shane Monnox.

The ladies had a one to count two to count stableford competiton with drawn partners and the winners with 57 points were Di Johnson and Sue Stanbury. In second place were Cherry James and Frances Harbron with 53 points.
