MONDAY, February 25 saw Downes Crediton Golf Club Seniors play a roll up stableford competition and it was Andrew Chandler who finished in top spot with a superb score of 44 points.

This score beat Andy Gibson, who posted 42 points, into second. Nick Bromell kept up his fine form finishing third with a score of 38 points.

In the ladies Daytona competition on Thursday, February 28 it was the pair of Fran Shrubsole and Doreen Warren who finished in top spot with a score of 1028 while the pair of Ying Wong and Trish Wallis finished second with a score of 1032.

With the course in fine condition on Saturday, March 2 there were some players showing early season form with incredible scores posted in the March Medal.

Chris Bruce shot a fantastic nett 63 to win the overall prize as well as the Division Two prize with Daniel Knight (nett 66) in second place.

Division One saw victory for Rodin Mackay who played some superb golf that included a front nine of gross 31 (four under par) on route to a gross 68, nett 64.

Tristan Kershaw (nett 66) followed in second place whilst Tim Andrews (nett 68) topped Division Three beating Stephan Cross (nett 68) into second place by virtue of a better back nine.

Ashley Cross won the Sunday stableford on March 3 with a score of 36 points.
