It was a fantastic effort from Downes Palairet team who on Sunday, August 19 played in the Devon county finals day. An early start as they played a strong Wrangaton team and beat them in the semi-finals which set up a final against an extremely strong Tavistock, who in the morning beat Fingle Glen to reach the final in the afternoon.
Even with the best effort Crediton were beaten to the finish line but it was an achievement that the club hasn’t managed in more than 33 years so a fantastic result for the guys and the club couldn’t be prouder of all of them.
