WEDNESDAY, May 9 saw a large field gather for a Pro Stableford competition at Downes Crediton Golf Club and it was Daryl Pidgeon who took top spot with a great score of 36 points beating Allan Vodden who scored 35 points.

Lyn Parry took the spoils on Thursday, May 10 in the Ladies Spring Meeting and LGU Medal scoring a brilliant 74 points to take overall and Division One top spots beating Sue Jackson who scored 76 points to finish second.

In Division Two Penny Long drove to victory beating Rebecca Aven by one shot as she scored a nett 80.

The ladies also had a nine hole competition being played as well and Ros McIntyre took the spoils with 16 points seeing off Jill Yeates who scored 14 points.
