DOWNES Crediton Golf Club Seniors played a fourball better ball competition on Monday, November 12 which saw the pair of John Warren and Colin Parr steal the show with a brilliant score of 46 points to beat the pair of Mike Charnock and Jim Dunlop who finished second with a score of 44 points.

Brian Williams and Alun Lewis finished in third place with 44 points but lost to a better back nine.

Mike Charnock, Jim Dunlop and Simon Mannell took the spoils on Saturday, November 17 as they won this year’s three-player team poultry stableford with a superb score of 83 points, beating the team of David Hill, Paul Sandercock and Kevin Perry who scored 81 points to finish second.

Simon Baker, Adrian Cram and David Bunclark finished third with a score of 81 points but losing to a better back nine.
