CREDITON Youth FC lost out 3-1 at home against Honiton Town Youth. The visitors were 2-0 up at the break and despite the hosts pulling one back and getting very much back into the game in the second half it was the guest who sealed the result with a late goal.

The U14 had to settle for a point away at Cranbrook United as their game finished one a piece.

It was a fine performance for the U13’s as they put four past Exmouth Town Casuals without reply at home.

Another fine morning for the U11’s, as the Panthers beat Exmouth Town Sharks, and the Pumas completed a fine morning by returning from Cranbrook United Centurians victorious.

Sunday saw the U16 girls travel to Torquay United Yellows very much the underdogs for their County cup tie against their Division One opponents.

The Crediton girls put in a tremendous performance and were leading 1-0 until a late goal from the home side took the tie to penalties. But it was still to be their day as they converted all their penalties and two fine saves from their keeper saw them through to the next round.

Great wins for both U14 girls sides as the Youth girls edged out Braunton Wanderers Youth 4-3 up in North Devon, and the Blues girls enjoyed a fine 4-2 victory at home against Central Youth Wildcats.

The U10 girls hosted two sides from Watcombe Wanderers and ended the morning with one win, one draw and two narrow defeats.
