CREDITON Youth Football Club ran a trip for its Girls Section to watch the recent England v Wales Ladies World Cup Qualifier at St Mary’s stadium in Southampton.

A full coach made up of players, coaches and parents from all three of the clubs girls sides took part in the trip. It gave many of the girls their first chance to watch a Ladies International, and to visit one of the Premier league’s newest stadiums.

The match itself ended goalless but was a very exciting game, with Phil Neville’s Lionesses dominating possession and creating numerous chances in the second half.

The club try to organise trips for most of its age groups and was delighted to be able to offer a dedicated trip for the Girls Section as well this season.
