AFTER a lot of hard work behind the scenes, Crediton Youth Football Club were able to run a trip to the London Stadium to watch the West Ham United v Everton game.
The traveling party consisted mainly of players from the Under 13’s and 16’s sides. It was the first time the club had arranged a trip to watch West Ham.
With most fixtures this season being sell outs, the club was very fortunate to obtain tickets, for the game at one of the Premier League’s newest stadiums.
Although the game itself was hardly a classic with Everton running out 2-0 winners, a great time was still had by all.
Thanks must go to Sean Hartrey for all his hard work in arranging the trip.
For the U16 players it was to be their last trip with the club. Whilst with the club, many of the players have been able to see some of the Premier League’s two sides such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as well as an England International and visit some of the best stadiums in the country.
