CREDITON United Football Club took on Bridport for their first game of the season away at Bridport on Saturday, August 2.

It was wonderful to watch the lads, four senior players and the other 11 aged 16 and upwards for what was a good game.

The result was a 1-1 draw.

Well done to all the players and to our new managers.

Keep it going, we are behind you.

• Currently we are seeking more volunteer helpers and others to step up to roles.

Help on match days would be appreciated.

We need someone as gate steward and also some more helpers to run our tea shed.

You do no need to be on the committee.
