CREDITON United AFC Youth Under 12’s Girls recent 5-0 home victory over Culm Sampford saw them clinch the Devon County League title.

Following a great team performance, goals from Kaitlyn Rickard (2), Bethany Ebdy, Jessica Cockayne and Olivia Carthew saw them secure the championship with one game still remaining.

The club has been saddened by the recent loss of two great supporters of the club Ian Leach and Dave Gribble.

Ian had been a big part of the club for a number of years. He had given a tremendous amount of time and support not only to the side he had coached but to the committee and the club in general.

Ian has always been one of the first to help out at any event and was an immensely popular figure within the club.

During the past years, Dave Gribble had been a long-standing supporter of the club, having provided sponsorship for many team kits.

The club will always be grateful for Dave’s support and generosity.
