EASTER holidays saw reduced fixtures for Crediton Youth FC sides but a midweek fixture for the U15s saw their promotion hopes stay on track with a 7-2 win over Alphington.

Owen Jones leading the goal scoring with four, another double from Ben Harvey and a Ryan Sandland goal securing the win.

Saturday, April 16  saw the U13s go down 4-1 away at league leaders Alphington. Rhys Ebdy got the consolation goal for Crediton.

The U11s were at home to Heavitree Youth Lightning and goals from Ethan Moore, George Strawson, Jimmy Orchard, Josh Poole and Spencer Baxter sealed another fine victory.

The U10s were away at Teignmouth and their league game saw a rare goalless draw.

They played a friendly afterwards and ran out 2-1 winners. Both goals in that game came from Daniel Southall.

Only one Sunday match, saw the U11 girls beat Torquay United Community Sports Yellows at Lords Meadow.

Gracie Clements with a hat-trick and a Lexi Mullen on target for them.

Player of the match went to Lucy Budd for her outstanding game in defence.
