MID Devon Leisure has combined fitness and fundraising in support of its local cancer charity.
Events at three leisure centres - Exe Valley in Tiverton, Culm Valley in Cullompton and Lords Meadow in Crediton – raised £815.30 for FORCE.
The money came during the course of a week from donations made at classes, a fun day with a bouncy castle for children and a raffle.
Nick Denslow, Duty Officer at Mid Devon Leisure, said: “We have been working with FORCE Cancer Charity since the start of 2018, helping cancer patients with specialist exercise programmes at the Mid Devon Leisure facilities.
“Therefore raising money for FORCE was something that was close to us all. The event was a great success and the whole team got behind this excellent cause.
“There was a lot of energy throughout the centres and plenty of smiles whilst helping a very worthwhile local charity.”
Nick organised the charity event alongside Stacey Butler, Carole Jolliffe and Laura Huxtable.
