THE Equestrian Team from Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton entered a team of three, Jamie Crang, Holly Burrows and Alice Turner, for the Blundells South West Schools One Day Event held at Bicton on September 24.

Jamie Crang and his pony, named Redvear Rain Dance, dominated the class finishing with a dressage score of 15.2, scoring a double clear on the Cross-Country and Show Jumping round and a well-deserved individual win.

With Holly Burrows, and her horse Peter Paintbox, placed ninth and Alice Turner riding her horse, Bromson Colour Addiction, placed 11th, the team achieved a superb third place in the 70cm class.

Next up, in the 80cm class, Ella Mildon, riding Dees Spellbinder, finished on their dressage score with a double clear, only just missing the placings for the next round as she came in at 11th place.

Praise has gone to all the QE Equestrian Team members.
