A FORMER pupil of Yeoford Primary School and Queen Elizabeth's Community College, Crediton, has raised more than £1,350 for Save the Children UK and achieved a personal best in this year's London Marathon. Dan Ezard completed the run in three hours 26 minutes, beating his own time from last year by 15 minutes. Crediton supporters of Save the Children also raised almost £225 in Save the Children Week with a collection at Tesco Crediton Wellparks store last Friday. Sue Brown, who organised the collection, thanked all the helpers as well as Tesco for their support. The next fundraising event for the charity will be a Golf Day at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Friday, June 6. Anyone interested in playing in, or sponsoring, the event should please contact Judith Ezard on 01363 772502.
