AT Yeoford Cricket Club’s annual end of season dinner, held at the Ruffwell Inn, Thorverton, Danny Uren and Andy Coren wiped the board with awards.

Congratulations went to Paul Coren who received the well-deserved Club Person of the Year award and to Danny Uren who was the Player’s Player of the Year, equally well-deserved.

A heartfelt tribute was paid to Eve Collins a staunch supporter and scorer for the club who sadly died last year. A plaque was presented to her husband, Cleave, in her memory by Derek Coren. 

Another special presentation was made to Ivor Coren for his continued support and work in the club. 

Scott Kelly was the “Man with the Champagne Moment” and finally a thank you goes to Ash Pitts for his help throughout the season.

The Club is holding its AGM on Thursday, February 25 at the Crediton Inn, starting at 8pm.
