THE new cricket season at Shobrooke Park is due to start in mid-April with a friendly game against Hatherleigh on April 15.

In preparation for the new season the club has organised net sessions at the Centre of Excellence, University Sports Hall, Exeter, on Sunday evenings (February 26, March 12 and March 19) between 6pm and 7pm.

From late March onwards net sessions will be held at the Shobrooke ground. The club would like to invite new players of all abilities to join it for the 2017 season and to go along to the net sessions.

Shobrooke Park CC run two sides in the Devon League on a Saturday and one side in the North Devon League on a Sunday and there is also the opportunity to play mid-week cricket.

The club is fortunate to play on one of the most picturesque crickets grounds in the South West.
