FANCY trying your hand at playing bowls?

Crediton Bowling Club has arranged a four Taster Days, which will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 2pm, Tuesday, April 26 at 10am, Saturday, April 30 at 10am and Friday, May 6 at 2pm.

Christine Marshall, Hon Secretary, Crediton Bowling Club, said: "These special days are a way to introduce folk to the game of bowls, with qualified coaches in attendance and a good cheerful welcome from club members, for anyone who may like to take part.

"Anyone who comes along will have instruction on the correct sized bowls for them, information on how to deliver the bowls, with a practice on the lawn bowling green and tuition from nationally- qualified coaches.

"On these Taster Days we encourage beginners to ‘Have a Go’ and offer further sessions with one of our four coaches to give them more confidence to possibly join the club and continue playing."

Crediton Bowling Club clubhouse is located in Newcombes Meadow.

Free tea/coffee will be available.
