IT was another win for Crediton Youth U13’s at home to Brixington Blues. Rhys Ebdy with a brace and Zach Mildon getting their goals in a 3-1 win, but it could have been more, with many missed opportunities.

The only other team at home were one the U8 sides who took on Starcross Dons and Copplestone. One victory and two draws for them.

It really was a busy day for the U8’s with a further two sides taking part in a futsal tournament at Paignton. One of the sides narrowly lost in the final to Torquay Academy.

It was a close game as well when the two Crediton sides met earlier in the tournament with only one goal separating the two teams.

Another fine win away at Whipton for the U11’s. Leading the scoring was Hayden Richardson Miller with a hat-trick, doubles for Ethan Moore and Josh Poole and Dan Cavanagh completed the scoring.

The U14’s were away at Brixington Blues and were defeated 4-1 with Jack Brimilcombe on target again for them.

Back in action again were the U7’s away at Copplestone. Another enjoyable morning of football with Freddie Rose being player of the day for one side for his goals and non stop energy. Oliver Sims for the other side for his great defending and reading of the game.

Sunday saw the U9 girls host a mini tournament at Lords Meadow. Two narrow defeats and a draw for them.

The U11 girls were away at Starcross Dons and came away with another victory, courtesy of goals from Gracie Clements, Lexi Mullen and Eva. Player of the match went to Jess Blake who put in a strong performance against a good Starcross side. Special mentions to Eva and Helena  who played consistently well, with Eva getting her first ever goal.
