WITH regard to the proposed development at Creedy Bridge (“Courier”, March 31), this image is the beautiful and idilic view, from Shobrooke Park, across the lakes, across the Creedy Valley, on to East Lodge and beyond to Creedy Park which we can all currently enjoy.

If developers are allowed to build in the Creedy Valley the green middle ground of this uplifting view will be a mass of more than 300 houses, a school, and a clubhouse.

The green link between the two historic estates will be lost forever and the character of this peaceful pastoral area will be destroyed.

This development must not be granted permission.
