CREDITON Museum is inviting local people to a Finds Day on Saturday, November 5.
A professional archaeologist will be on-hand to help people going along identify and record any finds they might have made. Whether you are a seasoned metal detectorist, or you’ve made a chance discovery, the Museum would like everyone to take in anything interesting they might have found.
That could be something from your garden, an allotment, or something you picked up while you were out dog walking. There is no charge for this.
The Finds Day will work on an appointment basis from 11am to 1pm. Go to the website: http://creditonhistory.org.uk/crediton-museum/1743-map-project.aspx to see how to book a place.
The Museum will also be open on a first-come-first-served basis between 1pm and 3pm for anyone who hasn’t made a booking.
