10am to 5pm. Silverton Street Market. Entry £3 per adult  (under 16’s free) - also Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Donation Day (Joe Bussell will be collecting medicines, toiletries and dry food as well as other items).

12 noon - Morchard Bishop Vintage Rally and Family Fun Day at The Playing Field in Wood Lane (EX17 6PE). Vintage vehicles, craft stalls, ferret racing, barbecue, face painting, bar and refreshments. To book a stall please contact Bob Robinson on 07761 281155.

2.30pm - Cheriton Fitzpaine Garden Club Annual Show in the Parish Hall. Free entry, raffle, tea and cake.

3pm to 5pm - Strawberry Cream Tea, Rectory Garden, Church Street, Crediton for North Devon Against Domestic Abuse.

2pm - Sampford Courtenay and Honeychuch Flower and Vegetable Show at Sampford Courtenay Village Hall. 

2pm to 5pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group Cream Tea, with River City Chorus, Waterbridge House, Morchard Road, £5 per person. 

2pm to 5pm - Open Gardens at the Nunn’s House and The Willows, Cheriton Fitzpaine (EX17 4JH). In aid of St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital. Cream Teas available - donations only.

2.30pm - Spreyton Flower and Produce Show, at the Village Hall.

2.30pm - Cheriton Bishop Gardening Club Village Show, Crofter’s Mead.  Info: 01647 24424.  Schedules are on the village website. The show is open to anyone living within five miles of Cheriton Church, or who is a club member.  

2.30pm to 4.30pm - St Lawrence Fair, St Lawrence Chapel off Threshers, Crediton. 

6.30pm (eyes down at 7.30pm) - Meat Bingo in the Boniface Centre, Crediton. In aid of Holy Cross Church.

Saturday 19 - Car Boot Sale, Lapford Playing Field, sellers arrive at 10am, buyers at 11am - pitches £5 per car, £7 per van/car+trailer. In aid of Lapford Playing Field Trust.  For more information contact Grace on 07807 019890.
