CREDITON Congregational Church will be open on the afternoon of New Year’s Day for The Music Makers’ Third annual concert by young musicians – to start the year in refreshing style.
The concert will feature around 20 locally-based players (aged from eight to 18) who are taught by a number of local music teachers.
They will play a variety of short pieces on orchestral instruments, including piano, violin, cello, clarinet and trumpet.
There will also be an eight-piece children’s ensemble, featuring members of the Gregory, Bedford and McArthur families.
