TEN-years-old Livvy Harling was the only pupil of Yeoford School to enter the Rotary Club photographic competition this year - and she won.
Theme of this year’s competition was Reflections. Olivia, who lives in Yeoford, had entered photographs she had taken on Dartmoor to win the club heat of the 7-10 years category, pitting her photos against those entered by other schools.
She received two certificates, a £25 music voucher as well as a chance to visit an Exeter Chiefs match with Phil Mingo who runs Pinnacle Photo Agency.
Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface president elect, Nick Yarnold, made the presentations at the start of an assembly at the school.
He reminded them to look for information about this year’s competition, saying that the more who enter, the more fun the competition would be.
Last year the local winner also came from Yeoford School and went on to the district round against others from the whole of Devon and Cornwall.
