CREDITON welcomed the stunning golden Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy after it was brought to the town during a nationwide tour of the country.

The trophy came to Crediton Rugby Club during the Mini T1 Rugby Girls Festival which included girls from local primary schools.

This included Hayward’s, Landscore, Thorverton, Stoke Hill, Cheriton Fitzpaine, Newton St Cyres, Willowbrook, Clyst St Mary, Exwick, Broadclyst, Clyst Heath, Countess Wear, Wynstream and Westclyst.
