THE Crediton Heart Project has kindly donated a willow owl made at their willow sculpture workshop in the summer of 2022 to Crediton Library.

Crediton Library Supervisor, Sue Lee, said: “We are very pleased to welcome the willow owl as part of our Community Garden.

“The owl looks at home under the beech tree and can be viewed from inside the children’s library whatever the weather.”

The Crediton Heart Project is also kindly donating a £25 prize for the winner of a “Name the Willow Owl” competition.

If you have a child under 16 years of age who would like to enter the competition then please visit or contact the library with your child’s name, library card number and their chosen name for the owl.

The competition will close on Saturday, September 30 with the name being chosen on Tuesday, October 3.
