WITH reference to Septuagenarian Sue of Crediton, in “Your Letters” published in the “Courier” on February 15, I had to chuckle to myself, in relation to her findings with her "trusty friend” (official issue) litter picker.
I am a regular volunteer litter picker with Mid Devon District Council... and nothing surprises me anymore, as to what I find!
I have found toilet seats, car batteries, tyres, etc. I have to wholeheartedly agree with Sue, why don’t folk take their rubbish home, or put it in the bin, (which includes doggie poo bags)?
How on earth,I ask, are we going to educate the public? Answers on a postcard please!
