KEEN gardeners, Bert and Margaret Jewell held a plant sale and open garden event at their home in Park Street, Crediton on Sunday, May 14.

The event at Penrose House was well-attended and raised £407.60 for Hospiscare.

Visitors were able to choose from a selection of colourful plants in the garage and explore the stunning gardens in brilliant sunshine.

Light refreshments were provided.

Bert and Margaret thank all who attended.
