MID Devon District Council is seeking views on waste and recycling storage for new residential properties.

Local people are being offered a second opportunity to have their say on a new Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), entitled "Refuse storage for new residential properties", which will provide guidance on the design of waste and recycling storage for all types of properties in Mid Devon.

An initial consultation was held earlier this year on the scope of the new SPD.

Since then, responses have been taken into account by MDDC and a draft SPD has now been prepared which is now out for consultation until November 21, 2016.

The draft SPD and associated documents are available to view on the council’s website at: www.middevon.gov.uk/refusestorage .

Hard copies of the draft SPD are available at the council’s offices at Phoenix House, Tiverton and at libraries in Mid Devon during normal opening hours.

The public consultation began on Monday, October 10.

Comments must be made in writing by midnight on November 21, 2016.

Responses must include the name and full postal address of the author of the comment and will be treated as a public document.

Comments should be sent by email to: [email protected] , or posted/delivered to:

Forward Planning, Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton EX16 6PP.
