What you told us ..........
We use the local shops a lot and we do all our shopping in Crediton. The biggest problem is the narrow pavement and the level of traffic which is very difficult for those with young children.

There is a nice selection of independent shops in the town which I enjoy looking around. I especially like the green grocer, where I live our green grocer closed.
Jan Fricker, Surrey
I've lived in Crediton for so long but I don't do a mass of shopping here just mainly the bakers and butchers. There are not enough clothing shops for women. There have always been good men's shops in the town, but not enough for women and there are far too many estate agents!
Jill Clark, Crediton
I think it's lovely, much better than it used to be. There is a real selection of shops. I do use Tesco, but I also use other shops like the butchers, coffee shop and Olivia James where I buy gifts. The only thing that spoils it is the traffic warden and the confusion over the parking bays.
Crediton Resident
I do shop in the High Street, including Tesco, Four Seasons and the bread shop and bank. I am a bit fed up with the number of "arty farty" shops. It is expensive to buy women's clothing in Crediton and I usually shop in Exeter where it is cheaper.
